• The menu bar panel came up empty in 1.17.0. Moving the panel's chrome onto swift-support-kit's shared MenuBarPanel took the package at 1.2.0, whose panel laid its middle band out at no height — so it drew a header and a footer with nothing between them, and the gateway line and the servers section were rendered below the panel's own bottom edge. Everything the menu bar exists to show was off-panel; the release that introduced the shared chrome is the release that shipped it bodyless. The requirement is 1.2.1 or newer now.

• The menu bar header pins the version to its trailing edge. The name stays at the leading edge and the version goes hard right, which is the arrangement the fleet settled on. Bastion's own suffix placement was one of the two inputs to that decision and lost it.
